Launch of All3Media America announced

All3Media has announced the launch of All3Media America (All3A).

All3A will the US production hub for the group’s worldwide companies who will have their own US selling teams based in the All3A offices and work in partnership with All3A on productions.

Stephen Lambert is to be the chairman of All3A and Eli Holzman is the president.

Studio Lambert USA will become one of the many All3 companies operating in the US in partnership with All3A. At the same time Studio Lambert has been fully acquired by All3Media.

Undercover Boss Wins Primetime Emmy

Undercover Boss won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in the Nokia Theatre Los Angeles last night.

It was the show’s third nomination and first win. It was the first time CBS has won the category.

VH1 wants to find the model employee

VH1 has picked up Model Employee, a new reality competition series featuring eight models vying for the chance of becoming the face of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

American model Chrissy Teigen will host the series from Studio Lambert, which has received an eight-episode order for a premiere in early 2013.

Lifetime picks up SL/TWC food product inventors show Supermarket Superstar

Lifetime has picked-up reality-competition series Supermarket Superstar, from Studio Lambert and the Weinstein Co. Hosted by actress/model/TV personality Stacy Keibler, the 10-episode series will feature aspiring food product inventors vying for a chance to have their product launched nationally in a major grocery chain.

Oprah Winfrey Network orders Studio Lambert’s neighbors series

OWN has ordered a Studio Lambert series in which communities unite to help families transform – tackling issues ranging from strained relationships to out of control teens to insurmountable financial woes. The series is based on Studio Lambert‘s existing format Desperate Neighbours which has already premiered successfully in Holland.

Undercover Boss receives Emmy nomination for third year running

Undercover Boss has been nominated again for a Primetime Emmy in the category of Best Reality Program. The other nominees are Antiques Roadshow, Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, Mythbusters, Shark Tank and Who Do You Think You Are?

The winner will be announced on the 15 September.

Spike to air swamp rat hunter show on 31 July

Studio Lambert‘s Rat Bastards will premiere on Spike on 31 July at 10.30/9.30C.

Weighing over thirty pounds and sporting six-inch fangs, the only thing preventing giant swamp rats from destroying Louisiana are the Rat B*stards and their crafty hunting tricks.

TV critics nominate The Pitch and Undercover Boss

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association has nominated both The Pitch (Best Reality Series – Competition) and Undercover Boss (Best Reality Series) for the second annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards. The winners will be announced on the evening of June 18th at the Beverley Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles.

Spike schedules Diamond Divers for June 20

Spike TV’s new unscripted original series, Diamond Divers, captures the epic journey of the fearless Captain John and his tough nautical crew as they put everything on the line to battle the treacherous seas of South Africa in search of buried diamonds under the sea.

Six one-hour episodes of “Diamond Divers” premiere starting Wednesday, June 20 at 10PM ET/PT on Spike TV.

ITV2 orders new dating series from Studio Lambert

Studio Lambert is to make a reality dating show for ITV2 called Three.

The 8 x 60-minute series will be fronted by Big Brother’s Bit On The Side presenter Emma Willis and follows the lives of three women as they attempt to find love.

As they search for a partner, they will share their lives and emotionally support one another during the dating and decision-making process.

It is based on a format pioneered by Israeli broadcaster Keshet Broadcasting.

Discovery launches Outlaw Empires

The creator of FX’s acclaimed biker drama Sons of Anarchy is launching an unscripted series on Discovery Channel that profiles the world’s most notorious gangs and crime families.

Produced by Studio Lambert, the series examines crime organizations such as the Crips street gang, the Irish Mob, a Latin American crime family, the Aryan Brotherhood and outlaw bikers.

It premieres on May 14 at 10p.

AMC schedules The Pitch for April

AMC will begin airing The Pitch, a reality series about the advertising world in April. Produced by Studio Lambert for the network that is the home of Mad Men, The Pitch is an eight-episode docu-style show that follows execs at ad agencies as they prepare to pitch on new business.

A sneak preview will air on Sunday, April 8 at 11 p.m. EST after Mad Men and The Killing, before launching on Monday nights on April 30.

Lifetime sets sail with cruise ship dating series

Lifetime has ordered eight episodes of Love for Sail, a docu-dating series set on the high seas, from Studio Lambert.

Premiering on April 10 at 10 p.m. EST/PST, each week the one-hour series follows four women as they board a Norwegian Cruise Line ship and sail to exotic locations, looking for love.

CBS orders a fourth season of Boss

CBS has ordered a fourth season of Undercover Boss.

Boss has been performing very strongly in its new Friday 8pm time slot, winning the night in the 18-49 demo since it started playing there in mid February. The show has received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Reality Program for the last two years running.

“Undercover Boss crushes Friday rivals” says EW.com

Undercover Boss made a very strong start in its new Friday 8pm slot on CBS.  Boss was first in households (6.7/12), viewers (10.73m), adults 25-54 (3.3/09) and adults 18-49 (2.4/08).

Boss posted the time period’s best regularly scheduled delivery in households since March 13, 2009.

Boss was Friday’s #1 program in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

A&E wants Be the Boss

A&E has given a seven-episode order to Be the Boss, a reality series born of the good fortune bestowed on an employee featured in a 2010 episode of CBS’ Undercover Boss.

Be the Boss, from Undercover Boss producers Studio Lambert, will revolve around a competition between two employees of a franchise-based company. The employees think they’re vying for a promotion, but in fact the winner will be handed the keys to a franchise or new branch of their own.

Spike orders Rat Bastards

Spike has ordered another series from Studio Lambert.

Rat Bastards follows a pack of industrious guys dubbed the Cajun Commandoes in Louisiana who hunt giant swamp rats both to sell and to eat. These determined rat hunters compete over a limited four month window to earn big bucks by capturing these loathsome pests for a bounty.

Undercover Boss leads Sunday night

The third episode of Undercover Boss season 3 was the #1 show on Sunday night with its largest audience since January 2011. The show had an average of 13 million viewers and saw a very strong rise from the first to the second half hour, peaking at more than 14 million.

Boss now moves to its new period of Friday at 8pm starting February 17th.

Tim Harcourt joins as Head of Development, Studio Lambert UK

Tim Harcourt has joined Studio Lambert in London where he will lead the UK development team. Tim was previously Head of Development at Fever Media where he worked for six years and prior to that he was at Hat Trick Productions.

“I’m delighted that Tim is now spearheading our development effort in the UK,” said Studio Lambert CEO, Stephen Lambert. “He has great relationships with UK buyers and a strong creative drive.”

Undercover Boss season 3 to premiere on CBS on 15 January

The third season of Undercover Boss on CBS will premiere on Sunday 15 January at 8pm with an episode featuring the CEO of Diamond Resorts International, Stephen J Cloobeck.

After the first three episodes, Undercover Boss will move to the Friday 8pm slot starting 17 February.
