Sundance picks The Flaw
Studio Lambert‘s feature documentary The Flaw has been selected for competition in the World Cinema Documentary category of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival which will be held next month in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.
This year 12 films were selected in this category from 796 international documentary submissions.

Studio Lambert has signed a partnership deal with Freaky Eaters producer Betty.

Studio Lambert sets up Welsh division
Studio Lambert has launched a Welsh trading division in Cardiff. Studio Lambert Wales is being spearheaded by development executive Sian Price.
Sian has worked on a wide range of series, including Channel 4’s Time Team and a BBC1 living history series set in Snowdonia.

Two Studio Lambert formats win C21/FRAPA format awards
The Fairy Jobmother won the best factual entertainment format award at the C21/Frapa International Format Awards and Three in a Bed won the best competition reality format award.
The two shows were recognised at a ceremony in Cannes during MIPCOM.

Six celebrities complete Machu Picchu trek for ITV2
Denise Van Outen, Fearne Cotton, Alexandra Burke, Gabriella Cilmi and Amanda Byram have returned to the UK after completing a trek through the Andes in Peru in aid of Breast Cancer Care.
Studio Lambert filmed their journey for a two part series for ITV2 that starts airing on 25 October.

Lifetime orders eight hours of The Fairy Jobmother
Lifetime Television will launch a US version of Studio Lambert‘s hit UK format to be hosted by career specialist Hayley Taylor.
Lifetime will sneak peek the first episode October 28 following Project Runway Finale before moving the show to regular time period at 9pm Thursdays.

Two days later 3.7 million watched the first episode of the first full series of UK Undercover Boss.

Undercover Boss’ premiere episode, shown on CBS on 7 February 2010 immediately after the Super Bowl, was seen by 38.6 million viewers, which means it attracted the largest audience ever for a new series following the Super Bowl since the advent of people meters in 1987.

truTV has ordered a new eight episode series that follows a former state trooper and his team as they go after people engaged in illicit activities, from dealing drugs to fencing stolen goods.
The series is produced jointly by Studio Lambert and Zoo Productions and is set to premiere in March 2010.
