Pitch Slapped
This docu-series pits two rival New Jersey high school a cappella teams against each other, each under the mentorship of a superstar in the a cappella world.
Over the course of the season, cameras follow the training of these two teams – with a different competition each week. This all leads up to a championship sing-off at the end of the series, which crowns the winning team.
This is a series about singing, but it’s really much more than that. It’s a coming-of-age story fraught with teen angst, love won and lost, fitting in, and feeling like no one in the world understands you.
