Joanne Robinson is a highly experienced CFO with over 25 years of diverse experience in the media industry. She began her career in scripted series and feature films in Australia at Warner Brothers’ Movieworld (‘Hollywood on the Goldcoast’). Relocating from Sydney to London she joined RDF Television in 2000 and the world of Unscripted Reality working with Stephen Lambert on incredible formats including Wifeswap, Scrapheap Challenge and Secret Millionaire.

The company quickly went from start up to AIM listed and saw expansion into the US and an eventual sale to Banijay. In 2018 an offer to join Netflix and their EMEA growth plan meant the opportunity to be part of the stratospheric rise of the streaming giant. In most recent years she created Joyful Finance, a CFO consultancy working with companies of all sizes to define and successfully acheive financial goals. She focused on building powerful finance teams and structuring companies for financial and operational success.

Key achievements included leading the finance team during the BBC Studios acquisition of Britbox International and as CFO for Fulwell Entertainment in the global merger of Fulwell and Springhill (Lebron James production company).
