Presenters Denise Van Outen and Fearne Cotton, along with celebrity friends Alexandra Burke and Gabriella Cilmi and Amanda Byram, undertake an arduous trek across the Peruvian Andes to raise awareness of breast cancer. The celebrities are forced to give up their normal showbiz lives and deal with freezing temperatures, nights under canvas and altitude sickness.

Joining the celebrities are six women who have all been diagnosed with breast cancer, some of whom are still receiving treatment. These women share their experiences and talk about what it’s like to live with the disease, which affects around 1.38 million women worldwide every year.

The group overcome extreme conditions and experience powerful emotions as they hike for up to 10 hours a day to the world famous ‘lost city’ of Machu Picchu.
