Latest News from Studio Lambert Scripted
Studio Lambert’s scripted team have been very busy in recent months. Season Three of BBC’s Boarders is currently in production and set to air in 2026.
We’ve also signed a first-look deal with the creator of Boarders, Daniel Lawrence Taylor, to develop new scripted projects.
And we’ve recently optioned Hallie Rubenhold’s highly acclaimed true crime book, Story of a Murder, to be adapted by Amanda Coe.

Stephen Lambert awarded an OBE
A huge congratulations to our CEO, Stephen Lambert, who has been awarded an OBE in the King’s Birthday Honours. From Faking It, Wife Swap and Undercover Boss to Gogglebox, The Traitors and Squid Game: The Challenge, he has helped shape genre-defining TV that is loved all over the world.

Boarders Season Three announced
Boarders Season Three has been announced and the South London teens are back at St. Gilbert’s with new enemies, love interests and broken friendships.
Jodie Campbell (Leah), Sekou Diaby (Toby), Aruna Jalloh (Femi), Myles Kamwendo (Omar) and Josh Tedeku (Jaheim) will all reprise their roles for the final series, alongside writer and creator Daniel Lawrence Taylor who returns as their mentor Gus. Taylor will also make his directorial debut this series, directing the final episode.
The six-part series will be produced by Studio Lambert for the BBC, in association with All3Media International and is expected to air in 2026.

Celebrity Gogglebox returns for Season Seven
Celebrity Gogglebox is back for its seventh series, with lots of new famous faces including Vicky Pattison & Pete Wicks, James and Clair Buckley and Larry and George Lamb, as well as fan favourites returning, including Rylan and Linda, Jennifer Saunders and Beattie Edmondson and Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe.
Fridays at 9pm, Channel 4.

Elizabeth Hurley to play ‘The Deceased’ in The Inheritance
Actress, model and British icon Elizabeth Hurley is to play ‘The Deceased’ in Channel 4’s wickedly immersive new reality series, The Inheritance.
Thirteen strangers are summoned to a grand stately home, where they will compete for part of the fortune left in the will of The Deceased, a fabulously glamourous benefactor.
But winning the money won’t be easy. The Deceased had a wicked sense of humour and has designed a mischievous game to ensure only the best players can get their hands on her fortune.
Broadcaster, barrister and author Robert Rinder MBE is The Executor.
The Inheritance comes to Channel 4 later this year.

This autumn, 19 celebrities will play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning a cash prize up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

Five intrepid duos are tasked with undertaking the trip of a lifetime, racing over 14,000km across Asia, the world’s largest continent, taking in three of its most diverse and fascinating nations – China, Nepal and India. And they have to do it with the lowest budget in the show’s history – just over £1,000 per person.

This year’s RTS Awards saw The Traitors win in the Entertainment category and Josh Tedeku (Boarders) win the Breakthrough award.

Channel 4 Announce ‘The Inheritance’
Twelve strangers arrive at a grand English country estate, lured by one irresistible opportunity: to inherit a chunk of a vast fortune. The fortune belonged to a glamorous benefactor known only as ‘The Deceased’ who has left video messages for the players from beyond the grave.
Produced by Studio Lambert with GroupM Motion Entertainment, The Inheritance will be coming to Channel 4 later this year.
